Field trip

Field trip WS Management:

Responsible: Dr Tahar Sghaeir, Researcher, INRGREF

The objective of this fieldtrip is to visit various stands of Tetraclinis articulata which cover the wide range of site quality, stand density and age located within the forest, as well as some sampling plots used in a previous study.

Departure from the hotel at 8.00h and return at 12.00h (about 20km from the hotel).

Field trip WS Genetics and WS Economics:

Visit of the Pinus pinea forest - Dar Chichou
Responsible: Dr. Abdelhamid Khaldi, Researcher, INRGREF
The objective of the field trip is to visit the Pinus pinea plantation for dune fixation, and its management for fruit production. Visit of the archeological site of Kerkouen.

Departure from the hotel at 7.00h and return at 13.00h.

It is strongly recommended to bring walking shoes for both field trips.
