Post-fire rehabilitation

Objectives

(i) to learn on the criteria for post fire rehabilitation planning;

(ii) to learn on the need and efficiency of emergency actions to prevent soil erosion and flooding in the short-term after fire;
(iii) to review the technology of post-fire restoration in the long-term, from nursery cultivation of seedlings to plantation techniques,
(iv) to learn on post-plantation forest management and fire prevention criteria in post-fire restoration;
(v) to introduce the landscape perspective in post-fire restoration.
