EFIMED Award to the Best Doctoral Thesis 2010

BACKGROUND

EFIMED would like to enhance and support young scientists working on Mediterranean forest research, who excel in their fields, by launching an Award to the best doctoral thesis.
The award will be given to a young scientist who has made through his/her doctoral thesis a significant contribution to advancing Mediterranean forest science on one of the topics prioritized in the Mediterranean Forest Research Agenda. The work should be innovative and original, and deal with forest science or adjacent scientific disciplines of interest for forestry

AWARD

The prize consists of:
- 2000 EUROS; and
- Travel costs to the next EFIMED Annual Meeting, in order to present the work. This point includes: free registration fee, transport and accommodation, according to EFI Travel Rules.
